The nespresso machine fail made my day.
It’s a fantastic hotel and extremely well connected. At the basement is Otemachi station- which connect to everything in central Tokyo. The hotel is also walking distance from Tokyo station. I remember I ordered a cocktail at the lounge in the morning. Since the cocktail maker wasn’t there and I had to wait, they gave us a couple of other drinks for free. One thing for sure: as good as the hotels are, what makes Japan so special is the unmatched quality of service.

Dear John, with all due respect. Aside from the view it seems just like any other luxury hotel in the world. I dislike huge convention type hotels. I have friends stay at the Ritz and Park Hyatt and they are pretty much the same and I am not impressed with the Aman either. For a Japanese luxury experience please please try the Hoshinoya Tokyo unlike anything else in the world.
